Have you all heard of afterglow phobia? Mine isn't as severe as most people's, but it does bother me during this critical period of my senior year of high school.
I'm a senior in high school now, and it all started in a physics class. At that time, I suddenly found myself unconsciously staring at the boy across the aisle, and later realized that he actually often looked at me with his afterglow as well. In the first semester of my senior year of high school, he sat near me, and we always unconsciously stared at each other during class, and probably because I wasn't very confident myself, I would subconsciously look back over my shoulder, and as a result, my symptoms got worse and worse during that period of time. After I changed my seat, I started to have afterglow fear of people around me.
At first I thought it would only be like this for people in specific positions, but then I realized that the symptoms would be more pronounced especially for those I was a little envious of.
Fortunately, through self-adjustment, my situation gradually improved. Now I can basically concentrate in class, only that I still feel a bit uncomfortable when looking at PPTs because I inevitably use my afterglow.

Recently there has been a new change. The homeroom teacher moved me to the center of the classroom, which is a little heartbreaking to say the least, but it's for my own good.
Now in class, my eyes always unconsciously drift to a girl at ten o'clock. She was a very pretty girl, we had a good relationship, and she grew up in a loving environment.
There is no significant relief from the symptoms yet.
When I first switched to that position, I was completely unable to study and even my afterglow interfered when I looked down to do my homework. It was only after my mom took me home on her electric bike to rest for the night that I recovered a little bit
Hello, my friend.
After reading what you shared, I would say that exercise is really key. Making exercise a daily habit and sticking to a daily routine of moving until you are slightly sweaty will keep your body permeable inside and out, energized and focused. Simplify your life by focusing on eating, studying, exercising, sleeping, thinking less and doing more, and staying on track.
Going for nature walks and listening to music or the sounds of nature can also help to relax.
